Ah Mer Ah Su’s ‘Space’ Video is a Queer Vampire Love Story starring Trans Porn Stars and Models

“Space” is not an erotic video per se, though it is one that touches exquisitely on queer and trans relationships, and stars some familiar faces to fans of queer and indie adult films.

The Bay Area’s own Siren Witch Poptronic Princess Star Amerasu released her second EP “Rebecca” earlier this year under the moniker Ah-Mer-Ah-Su. She’s released a music video for her current single, “Space,” reflecting upon the Oakland-based artist’s life as a trans woman of color.

The video, by Viktor Belmont and Oliver Yvng, stars Amerasu as a vampire along with a cast of queer porn performers and trans models Viktor Belmont, Chelsea Poe, Tirrell Cherry, and Star Amerasu herself. Set in San Francisco, the beautiful music video depicts brief romantic encounters leading up to a firework finale when she and Viktor Belmont find one another.

“Space” is a poignant visual narrative to the utter heartbreak trans people feel when they are excluded from society especially by lovers who keep their relationships private. However, we’re left on a high note, on the top of a hill as the pair look over the city in each others arms.
